Together they are committed to promoting awareness to create a disability confident culture both at Eli Lilly Cork and beyond.Come join our team - Be Creative, Be an Innovator, and most of all, Be Yourself!Lilly Meetings and Congresses is a centralized global meetings team that offers best in class, end to end compliant and seamless execution of meetings and events, utilizing efficient tools and processes to accelerate business requirements and deliver outstanding customer experiences.Lilly Meetings and Congresses is a centralized global meetings team that offers best in class, end to end compliant and seamless execution of meetings and events, utilizing efficient tools and processes to accelerate business requirements and deliver outstanding customer experiences.We take care of all aspects of health care providers and employee meetings for all business areas as Marketing, Medical, Sales and others, delivering an end-to-end support that includes strategic project management, consultancy, logistics planning and oversight, contracting, administrative and finance support, vendor management, on-site execution and facilitate transparency publication.The Lilly Meetings and Congresses Centre of Excellence Team will focus on delivering value-add meeting activity around governance and supplier management, financial support and transaction processing, transfer of value (ToV) compliance, data reporting and analytics, training and implementation and local Customer Meeting Services (CMS) activity.Note: This position is a 12 month contract.Responsibilities:Evaluate finance procedures, identifying potential gaps and areas of risk, and implement necessary controls. Area of focus include managing accruals, overseeing chargebacks, and assessing our current payment methods such as ZD, PO, Non-PO, and VAN (Virtual Credit Card).Coordinating and executing payments via the appropriate payment method including Vpayments, WedDR and Purchase OrdersExecute and support vendor and budget management activities including financial reconciliation and payments process.Lead and manage various projects ensuring timely execution and achievement of project goals.Implement and monitor SLAs for MPC, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Continuously evaluate processes, systems, and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, streamline processes, and drive organizational objectives and develop mitigation strategies.Act as the main point of contact for the team, facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration. Assist senior managers by providing support in tasks.Comply with global standards on meetings and events interactions with external parties and all other relevant Lilly policies and procedures. Be responsive for audit readiness and compliance requests.Understand meeting program and needs of meeting owners and thought leader relationship owners and consult by providing project management expertise and direction to ensure fulfilment of meeting expectations. Support the meeting program through different systems and tools focused on meeting planning & contracting process. Initiate and facilitate optimization opportunities connected with processes, systems, and people.Establish and maintain internal strategic partnerships with compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions that can facilitate cross functional work.Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the recording of Meetings and Events data and ToV compliance through reconciliation and meeting close activities. Effectively detect and correct inaccurate or incomplete compliance data and review final meeting budget for completeness and accuracy against all supplier invoices.Demonstrate a mindset focused on process improvement and innovation.Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience could apply.Additional language would be an advantage, with a preference for French.Knowledge and expertise using systems, applications or devices as MS Office 365, SAP, others.Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, finance or meetings and events background Additional Skills/Preferences:Experience in project management and effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders.Finance experience essential.Requires business and/or technical knowledge developed through education or experience using discipline and understanding of key business drivers. Over time should be able to improve processes, products, and services. Be able to create impact at different levels: immediate peers and across teams.May lead small to medium projects with small to moderate risk. Effective and agile communications skills are needed.Requires analysis of possible solutions to solve and anticipate a range of day-to-day problems including standard and non-standard requests.
