R&D Financial Analyst (PPC)

DescriptionJoin our TeamAbout this opportunityThis role, known internally as a PPC (Project Portfolio Controlling), operates within Ericsson’s Network Management Engineering Unit which is a software development unit, and the role is a link between the development programs and finance.Your primary role is to analyze the past, present & future financial & headcount data of the organization and its constituent development programs and evaluate alignment towards budgets. This involves gathering data to understand the trends affecting specific cost bases for multiregional projects to help stakeholders make important costs decisions.What you will doAnalyse & troubleshoot financial data and provide forecasting support towards the programs.Coordinate data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics.Evaluate current cost expenditures & forecasts vs frames (budgets).Evaluate and analyze expenditures, proposals, cost scenarios, , etc. to give advice for cost savings.Ensure duties are performed in a SOX compliant way and structure master data in the project financial and planning systemsSupervise financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, consolidation, cost control and project control and provide/explore financial models & scenarios.Coordinate with other members of the team to review cost information and forecasts.Handling of Purchase Orders for development subcontractors.You will bringYour day-to day work will involve extensive use of excel to a proficient/expert level and you are encouraged to be already at that level.In depth knowledge of Microsoft365 packagesExcellent tool skills and experience in Microsoft PrOA, Business Objects/Business Warehouse and SAP/PSBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience validated experience in the field or in a related fieldFamiliarity with financial programs and software and basic understanding of principles of financeProficient English, both written and orally, is a requirement.Time management and organizational skills and ability to persuade senior stakeholders.To succeed in the role, you are structured with proven knowledge of capability management and a strong efficiency focus.Understanding of Sarbanes-OxleyDemonstrated great teammate and able to work collaboratively with others in an international setting.Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, presentation skills coupled with an ability to multitask.Why join Ericsson?
