It’s how we communicate with our audience, share our news, updates, and exciting announcements, it’s the voice of the company. You’ll work on our Social Media team at Web Summit which creates and delivers the best quality content across all of our social platforms. You’ll work as part of the larger Marketing Team, a cross-functional team that consists of world-class creators and marketers.What you’ll achieve at Web SummitYou’ll contribute to the Social Team in creating original and innovative content for our global audience of more than 3 million followers. You’ll create and inspire the development of content across each of our social media channels, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll create content calendars to help drive engagement across each platform. You’ll analyse and report the performance of our social media channels to key stakeholders, and identify opportunities to grow our global audience. You will develop and expand our social media content product offering for our event partners and sponsors. You’ll work closely with our design and video team to create engaging and standout social media content for a variety of different campaigns.You'll work closely with, and mentor junior members of the team, and bring a knowledge sharing culture to the team. You’ll work alongside the advertising team in promoting our social media content across paid platforms. You’ll collaborate with teams all across the company to help support and amplify their activities. Skills and abilities we’re looking forYou've a deep understanding of the current trends, emerging stories & exciting developments across the full spectrum of tech & innovation, and a pulse on global socioeconomic trends.MA or BA in marketing, communications or journalism would be ideal.5+ years social media experience with an agency or for a global brand, managing and executing campaigns across multiple platforms. You've a passion for innovation & startups continually seeking to learn more about the cutting edge of the tech ecosystem from all corners of the world.Excellent communication skills in English required. Proven experience creating content for social media communications.Experience measuring success across social media - determining the performance of content and iterating as necessary.1+ years of team leading would be advantageousExperience working with Adobe Photoshop, Canva and AfterEffects is a plus.Experience presenting to senior management or external stakeholders is a plus.
