The Senior Director of Asset Management plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the life cycle of physical assets within our manufacturing organization. They ensure that assets serve their intended purpose efficiently and effectively. This position involves creating and implementing asset management plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical support. The Senior Director collaborates with various departments to optimize asset utilization and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. What will you do? Strategic Management: Devising and implementing asset management strategies aligned with the company’s goals and financial objectives. Policy Development: Creating and enforcing policies and procedures related to asset utilization, maintenance, and protection. Performance Analysis: Conducting comprehensive asset performance analysis to inform strategic decisions. Financial Planning: Regularly liaising with finance departments to forecast and plan for future investments and dispositions. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Vendor Management: Managing relationships with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders. Leadership: Providing direction to the asset management team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development. How will you get here? Bachelor’s degree (typically required). Advanced degree in Engineering preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 17 years of experience in asset management or related field. Deep knowledge of asset life cycles. Excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with asset management software. Experience in manufacturing engineering or related industry. Lean manufacturing principles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
