Purpose of the role This role is responsible for linking the talent strategy with our overall resort strategic priorities, to ensure organisational effectiveness and return on investment. Supporting the HR team, this role will provide a comprehensive, confidential support to all employees whilst managing the talent function you will also support in all areas of human resources - employee relations, engagement, and compliance with employment legislation. Role & Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of HR and the Senior Leadership team to identify recruitment needs and develop internal and external sourcing strategies to meet these needs. Responsible for the overall attraction, selection, and recruitment process. Establish relationships with preferred recruitment agencies and other appropriate third parties to support the resort recruitment needs. Identify and recruit high potential candidates from within the industry & alternative industries. Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard to fill roles and work with our marketing team to create an attraction strategy for the same. Develop and implement action plans to position Adare Manor as an Employer of Choice in the employment market, with an emphasis on Social Media, Career Open days, Universities & Colleges and our own team. Establish relationships with key universities and institutions to attract high potential graduates & interns to Adare Manor. Work with the Director of HR to ensure talent sourcing activities are linked to internal succession planning systems and tools. Develop and roll out a recruitment strategy that supports a manager led recruitment process across the Resort. Facilitate our recruitment/hiring leadership workshop to strength capability & build greater confidence and competence of our leaders across the resort. Responsible for managing and leading the Assistant HR Manger (responsible for Recruitment) to deliver an engaging and consistent attraction & selection process to both internal & external candidates. Ensure Adare Manor advertising, recruitment and selection policies and practices are implemented in line with our brand guidelines. Maintain up to date knowledge regarding labour market and industry trends that will impact on our talent sourcing needs and approach. Tracks key business indicators (Time to hire, Employee Turnover, Employee Engagement) to determine the effectiveness of current systems and processes and identify areas for improvement. Analyses exit interview feedback and assists leaders in understanding potential areas for improvement. To carry out 'hands on' training and/or coaching with new leaders to ensure they are working in line with the talent strategy. Ensure our application tracking system supports the overall recruitment strategy. Develop an annual attraction calendar which will link with the overall People & Culture calendar, thus driving a proactive HR strategy for the resort.
