To learn more about our purpose, culture, and priorities, visit our site. The project: Mace are looking for Planning & Scheduling people to work within the project controls team on large pharma project in County Mayo, Ireland. Within our Consult business, we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:Safety first - Going home safe and wellClient focus - Deliver on our promiseIntegrity - Always do the right thingCreate opportunity - for our people to excelYou’ll be responsible for: Leading application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.Good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologiesAdvising on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.Able to manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.Ability to play key role in multidisciplinary teams and take lead role in creating plans or analysing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.Leads and manages a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.Excellent written communication skills, clear & concise.As a planning / schedule management specialist, stays up to date with key industry / professional trends.In depth knowledge of schedule management tools & software.Able to provide effective & timely advice to clients.Understanding of data management.Clearly understands role & future career paths available from that position.Excellent attention to detail & able to validate & check schedule management inputs, recording & reports produced, providing basic commentary & analysis.Manages Assistant and Planning Managers where required by the scale of the project.Persuading and influencing colleagues.Influences client to accept proposals and recommendations.Satisfying customer requirements.Tackling problems that don’t have an obvious solution.Selling the business and winning work.Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to large audiences.Spotting and developing talented individuals. You’ll need to have: Exposure of working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale construction projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.Construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent).Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. Experience of working on large projects/programmes.Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer. You’ll also have: The ability to delegate tasks to others.Interest in the industry and staying up to date with professional trends.Excellent written communication skills, clear and concise.Extremely collaborative, with the ability to build excellent working relationships and have a very high political sensitivity.
