Our client, a global provider of healthcare manufacturing solutions, is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Waterford, on a full-time permanent contract. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and inventory.Key Responsibilities:Manage the Master Planning Schedule, including equipment, resources, and processes on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.Plan production requirements based on assembly line schedules, inventory, customer orders, and forecasts.Maintain and continuously improve SAP parameters and configurations.Oversee and approve the master production schedule throughout the entire production cycle.Monitor and promptly address production issues, adjusting schedules as needed in collaboration with stakeholders.Support new program executions, develop metrics to improve forecast accuracy, and enhance supply chain effectiveness.Develop and implement standards, practices, and policies to ensure accurate inventory records and support Lean-based process improvements.Ensure compliance with GMP practices, safety, and quality programs, undertaking additional responsibilities as needed.Requirements:Relevant degree or qualifications in the area of supply chain management, logistics and/or planning.3-5 years’ experience in planning preferably within a healthcare/pharmaceutical environment.Strong understanding of forecasting.Experience of SAP desirable.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Target-driven and self-motivated.
