Head Chef - New Opening - Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland Opening in Autumn/Winter 2024, Bar & Beyond @ Gaughan's are looking for the next up and coming Head Chef to create a stamp on the map in Ballina, Ireland with this mobilisation. The Role Are you a Sous Chef looking to make a name for yourself with that next step up or a Head Chef that is ready to run a blank canvas? Then this is the role for you. You’ll be heading up a brigade alongside managing, developing and delivering a menu designed, written and inspired by you. Working with local and fresh produce, the menu created by you must fit theme and seasons from the very best of the surrounding area. Tapas and small plates for a 50-cover space is the style of this new venture. A chef that can be creative, shows pride in their work and has a flair for cooking are key components in this day-to-day operation. By using your creative mind to serve and deliver maximum client satisfaction, Bar & Beyond @ Gaughan's is the place to be. About You Someone with previous experience in new openings and mobilisations would be ideal however, anyone that can hit the ground running using their culinary experience and professionalism is the minimum expected. Use initiative and work as part of team, leading by example. Responsible for the delivery and execution of the kitchen set up and food operation. A passionate chef, someone that understands high quality whilst managing budgets and finances within their role. With your culinary background you’ll have the ability to bring ideas to the table, make a name for yourself and have the full support and backing of the owners.
