In addition to managing large-scale one-off projects, at PM Group we also provide a Managed Service for capital projects to a growing number of clients. Our site-based Managed Service teams across Ireland provide a cost efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our clients. We take projects ranging in capital value from €100k to €15M from concept through all stages of the project life-cycle to handover. Whether a simple pump replacement or a complex building extension, we manage all aspects of the project from idea to implementation. We safely deliver diverse portfolios of projects including buildings, cleanrooms, utilities, process installations, regulatory upgrades and equipment replacements. We have a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Managed Services team on a pharmaceutical client site in West Dublin. The successful candidate will work on various upcoming key projects. Responsibilities Support the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout Report to the Projects Programme Manager and responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of strategic projects with the capability to project manage small projects autonomously as the business requires Project execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes Manage cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and Processing projects, in a highly automated GMP Production environment Manage the overall financial performance of engineering projects, including cash flow, life cycle costs, business opportunities and risks Contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule development Risk management and action plans to mitigate risk Strict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rules Control and monitor the safe working practices of contractors while on site Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Requirements on a Pharmaceutical Plant Qualifications Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline– Level 8 desirable Experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly automated GMP production environment Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion Full project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handover Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout Excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time delivery Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation. Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans, Strong competency in CMMS systems, preferably Maximo Strong computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.) Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices Experience using SAP and budgeting tools
