Team Intro/ about the roleThe Global E- commerce Team is responsible for capturing and identifying user's e-commerce intention and operating the whole process to promote GMV. Some of the projects you will be part of: commerce recommendation, EC labelling, EC evaluation and EC events. Our mission is to build and strengthen user awareness that they can shop on TikTok; Also to enhance the usage frequency of the search function and stimulate users' e commerce search needs. While improving user's search experience, accelerate the e-commerce business to grow. What will I be doing? - Responsible for the optimisation of e-commerce project search recommendation/evaluation/labelling projects, able to deeply understand users' search intentions, and combine output strategies such as local culture and user usage habits to ensure online user search experience.- Work closely with central team, local team, Product RD team and PM team to adjust search strategy, formulate strategy recommendation/evaluation/labelling standards and accurately analyse cases, and drive continuous optimisation of search strategy.- Responsible for the alignment and application of various rules of e-commerce in the search scenario, and responsible for its accuracy and rationality.- Participate in the planning of e-commerce projects and undertake the needs of the search side, and follow up the guideline update and training process to ensure that they meet expectations.- Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content. What should I bring with me? - Bachelor's degree or above is required.- Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience in E- Commerce. - Knowledge about search engines, the best way to be addicted to TikTok, and familiarity with shopping apps like Lazada, shopee or other local apps.- An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users.- Familiar with common office software, preferably having search operation experience.- Strong Product and Operation experience in the content safety space.- Exceptional communication and ability to understand existing and new moderation business logic, metrics, and process quickly. Excellent identifying problems, problem-solving skills, and learning abilities.- Data driven and goal oriented mindset, competent at multi-tasking, prioritising cross-functional global projects, and providing comprehensive solutions. Important to know & big plus to have- Outstanding natural communicator, exceptional verbal, written and communication skills in Arabic ( Native speaker or proficiency level,) and English, as well as market knowledge.- Flexible with work schedule and different time zones- Global scope.- Team management experience will also be big plus.
