We are always striving to be better. We are hiring a Junior Legal Secetary to join our Legal Team at Keelings. Why join Keelings The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Legal Office with daily and weekly functions covering a wide variety of work.  Support the In-house Legal Counsel and the Legal Secretary in the effective and efficient operation of the Group's legal operations     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:    Diary Management o   Maintaining Legal Counsel's diary. o   Meeting requests - prioritising. o   Co-ordinating meetings and following up on next steps. To actively promote and adhere to health and safety protocols and be responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues. Contributing to a safe work environment to minimise hazards and incidents in the workplace.      Dealing with Senior Level Management.    Maintaining Trackers, Registers and Legal Databases. o   Commercial Agreements. o   Updating Precedents/Templates.      Online Research on sites such as Land Registry /Vision Net / CRO / Irish Patents Office etc.    Providing full secretarial support to the In-House Legal Counsel.    Accurately compiling complex legal documents.    Liaising with external experts - Barristers, Mediators, Local Authority Planners, Solicitors.    Designing, setting up and maintaining Excel Spread Sheets and Power Point Presentations.      General Office Admin o   Stationery / Equipment Orders - pricing and cost research. o   Filing and archiving. o   SAP Concur- raising PO's. o   Timesheets. o   Assisting with training slides and legal updates. o   Company Secretarial and GDPR Software administration.       Key Skills & Knowledge   Essential : Flexibility if required to work outside of normal hours at certain times to suit requirements of the business and cover holidays when required At least 2 years' experience in a busy office environment is required Strong attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative Have a high level of personal integrity Good communication and interpersonal skills are required Be flexible and have a good approach to finding solutions Good Team player Optimistic outlook Maintain confidentiality of work Must have own transport    Desirable: Ability to manage time and perform to strict deadlines Ability to perform to a high standard in a demanding environment Teamwork abilities are a must IT Skills required (Word and Excel Skills essential)       Education & Qualifications: At least 2 years' experience working in a legal office Experience working as a personal assistant Typing, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Previous office experience desirable   Recruitment Process 1.
