Job Type: Day rate contract Our enterprise client in the financial sector has embarked on a significant digital transformation programme. This will lead to an enhanced customer experience, through re-development of the delivery channels and the ongoing evolution of the infrastructure and operations in order to provide cost-effective, secure and resilient services to our customers. To support and enable this transformation a significant and exciting opportunity has been created for a Technical Delivery Manager Network Security. This contract role is being created to meet the increasing demands for the design and implementation of secure Network infrastructure and solutions that have emerged. The successful candidate will have strong project management experience within network security technologies and will have worked in a Technical Delivery Manager role previously. This is a cross functional role requiring the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively across the business to achieve the required outcomes. Your Team: The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for delivering secure and resilient network projects for our client. Working as part of the Network and Security Design team, the successful candidate will manage and drive the delivery of network security solutions that will enable and enhance our clients compliance with the regulatory landscape. Requirements: Essential Detailed knowledge and experience in the project delivery of resilient network and network security solutionsSolid understanding of Network Segmentation, Micro-segmentation, Zero-trust and project managing these deploymentsBe a dynamic agent for strategic change with key project/programme stakeholders Leverage the expertise to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class service to key stakeholders across the programme of workKeen awareness of the regulatory landscape and the associated IT and cybersecurity requirements Strong experience in the delivery of enterprise-class solutions within significant transformation programmes that underpin business critical applicationsAbility to take initiative and produce results across multiple competing prioritiesAbility to collaborate effectively with a talented teamAbility to identify key risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented effectively Desired Strong understanding of Identity Access Management projects and integration with network segmentation and delivery challenges of these projectsKnowledge of secure and scalable cloud connectivity project deliveryKnowledge and understanding of Firewalls, Web Access Firewall, load balancers, and secure web gateway project deliveryKnowledge and understanding of private cloud and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure design Your Responsibilities: Technical Project Delivery Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Technical Project Delivery process within BSIM Change Management in Enterprise IT Services Understand Change Governance Structure and ensure adherence to the processes Develop the project workstream project planning documentation, milestone planning, target operating models, task assignments and runbooks for change windowsProvide oversight of all change initiatives within the workstream through consistent methodologiesDeliver weekly project RAG status updates to the programme teamDeliver secure and resilient solution designs through the project workstream that meet the needs of the business and enabling the strategic objectivesCreate alternatives and solutions for technical and business challenges and recommend change solutions based on subject matter expertiseCreate and apply relevant Internal Control Frameworks to support work stream deliveryCo-ordinate day-to-day aspects of the team, including active and consistent management of resourcesDrive the simplification of the managed environment seeking to minimise complexity while maintaining industry leading solutions and configurationsBuild and maintain relationships with the relevant 3rd parties that support this function Risk Management & Control Ensure a firm understanding of the risk landscape across the in-scope processesMaintain the in-scope control environment ensuring the controls are fit for purpose, aligned to internal standards and regulatory requirement and seek to enhance and automate where possibleMaintain RAID logs for the workstream, ensuring Risk Register is updated regularlyProactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions within the workstream while considering the wider implications of any findings Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships across Group Technology and 2nd Line and 3rd Line teamsManage internal and external stakeholders effectively and ensure that expectations and perceptions are pro-actively managedInfluence and work collaboratively with key stakeholders Champion a strong team ethos and contribute to wider team objectives Competencies for Your Role / (Behaviours for Success): Accountability & Decision Making High Performance Teams Communication & Influencing Customer Focus Risk Management Leadership and Change
