Store Manager – KildareExcel Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our client’s team at a busy forecourt in Kildare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Salary: €50kResponsibilities:Overseeing all aspects of the store’s operations, including fuel sales, convenience store management, and customer serviceLeading and motivating a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiencesImplementing and enforcing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiencyManaging inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, conducting regular stock takesDeveloping and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitabilityMaintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, including the forecourt area, convenience store, and restroomsHandling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely mannerBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliersRequirements:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or convenience store industryStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniquesFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredValid driver’s license and access to transportation
