Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. Responsabilities:-Spearhead the full spectrum of complex and high harm domains like violent extremism, hate speech, and mental health. Be accountable for the entire lifecycle of these critical programs, from conceptualization to execution.- Design strategic plans on a global scale and drive cross-functional team efforts to resolve extreme risk issues. Define priorities and ensure the implementation of key initiatives.- Become the key person of contact for complex domains and lead upward and downward communications. Ensure clear, effective communication across the leadership team, stakeholders, and partners.- Spearhead resource planning and advocate for bringing visibility and support to domain programs. Employ robust negotiation skills to balance program demands with resource allocation.- Be accountable for data-driven decisions, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. Oversee the overall health of key domain input/output metrics, define North Star benchmarks, and identify areas for improvement.- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, cultivating a collaborative environment and effective teamwork.- Actively stay informed about industry trends and real world developments. Lead preparedness to respond to emerging risk at scale, ensuring the domain teams team are prepared for and responsive to emerging challenges. - Extensive experience in content safety and trust & safety areas.- Proven ability to lead complex issues such as violent extremism, mental health, hate speech, and human trafficking.- Strong skills in data analysis and experience in tracking key performance metrics.- Effective leadership skills, with a background in mentoring and guiding team members.- Good understanding of rules and regulations in various high-risk areas.- Demonstrated success in planning strategies, working complex programs globally, and reducing prevalence of high risk.- Excellent communication abilities and comfort in working with team members from diverse backgrounds.- Subject matter expertise and and ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
