<p><strong>Therapy Assistant</strong></p> <p><strong>CDNT Balbriggan</strong></p> <p><em>Permanent; Full time, 1 WTE</em></p> <p></p> <p>An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the Balbriggan Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Balbriggan in the role Therapy Assistant. This pivotal role includes carrying out administrative tasks, as well as working directly with clients with supervision from the clinicians ( SLT, Physio and OT).</p> <p></p> <p>The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) will be providing intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centred Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. CRC CDNTs are based in Clontarf, Swords, Balbriggan and Clondalkin.</p> <p></p> <p>The successful candidate will have the following <strong>essential </strong>requirements:</p> <p></p> <p>· A QQI Level 5 relevant qualification in childcare, speech and language therapy assistant, therapy assistant or equivalent</p> <p>· At least 2 years experience of Microsoft Office and experience in using Microsoft applications</p> <p>· At least 1 year experience of working with people with a disability</p> <p>· Good interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and flexible attitude</p> <p>· Excellent communications skills both written and verbal</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Desirable</strong> requirements:</p> <p>· Experience of working in a Therapy Department</p> <p>· Experience working with people who have communication difficulties</p> <p></p> <p>Informal enquiries to Eithne Kilty CDNM, tel; 0871999600, ekilty@crc.ie</p> <p>Department of Health Salary scale, Therapy Assistant €33,934-€43,039.
