<p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our unique 5-star luxury environment. This is a permanent role, 5 days over 7 days.</p> <p></p> <p>In conjunction with the senior F&amp;B Leaders, this position has responsibility for the supervision and smooth running of our beverage service in both our bar and lounge areas throughout the hotel. It may also require assisting in our dining room where required.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Main duties &amp; responsibilities include (but not limited to:)</strong></p> <ul> <li>To work assist in elevating our beverage list.</li> <li>To ensure you are up to date on the daily menus and wine offerings to ensure you can make suitable recommendations and answer any guest questions and queries</li> <li>To keep traceability of all the beverages, make sure they are posted onto the proper room and to ensure the equipment is controlled and properly used</li> <li>Complete stocktakes as and when required</li> <li>Ensure the bar and pre-dinner station is set (assist where required) and the appropriate glassware and equipment are available and polished</li> <li>Make sure all menus are up to date, in good order and priced correctly showing the correct grammar and presentation.</li> <li>Plan, organise, control and review all service and systems to provide the best possible beverage service to guests.</li> <li>Ensures that F&amp;B team consistently maintain a high level of quality service to restaurant, bar and lounge patrons</li> <li>Assist with opening and/or closing duties following all standards and procedures in place</li> <li>Share with and train other staff member’s knowledge on beverage, food, cheese and wine by the glass offerings.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Desired Experience / Attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluent English with Strong Communication skills</li> <li>Professional, well-groomed and presentable</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of food &amp; beverage including knowledge of wine/whiskey/Cocktails</li> <li>A personable, charismatic and well-rounded hotelier preferably with supervisory &amp; leadership experience within a luxury hotel background</li> <li>A culture creator that understands the importance and value of people and how to create a workplace where our people are of equal value as our guests</li> <li>A great team player that can motivate and lead staff members</li> </ul>
