O'Brien Fine Foods  (OBFF) is an Irish family business based in Timahoe, Co. Kildare. This role is designed to provide recent graduates with the opportunity to develop their skills and gain practical experience in various aspects of supply chain management. The successful candidate will work closely with our supply chain team to support day-to-day operations, analyse data, and contribute to process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory. Order Processing: Support the processing of purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Data Analysis: Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Logistics Coordination: Help in coordinating logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Supplier Relations: Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability. Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, order status, and delivery performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals. Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
