We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating innovative cocktails and a strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer. As a bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience at our establishment. About The Role Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: • Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner • Take orders and prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages in a timely and efficient manner • Maintain a clean and organised bar area • Ensure that all beverages are served at the correct temperature and in the appropriate glassware • Recommend and upsell beverages based on guests' preferences and the establishment's offerings • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly • Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests • Familiarise yourself with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions guests may have • Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times • Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated in a timely manner • Ensure the restaurant areas are clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required • Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and ensure that any guest complaints and comments are reported to management • Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures • Assist in the set up and preparation, and provide service duties for functions as required • Support the kitchen staff as and when required and in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations Requirements for the role: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a bartender, preferably in a luxury hotel. Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine, beer, and premium spirits. Experience with bar inventory, stock management, and maintaining bar cleanliness. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, with the ability to create custom drinks. Positive attitude, team-oriented, and proactive in resolving issues. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
