International Business Resilience ManagerOur Client is currently looking for an International Business Resilience Manager to join their organisation. This is a varied role with the company and will involve coordinating across all the groups entities. The role holder is responsible for ensuring that appropriate and effective processes are in place to address all of the regulatory and business needs from an Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management (BCM) perspective. The role can be located in Meath or Dublin City Centre.ResponsibilitiesBusiness ResilienceEnsure the necessary frameworks and processes are in place to address the requirements under the laws and regulations related to Operational Resilience & DORA (Digital Operations Resilience Act)Define, schedule and implement appropriate testing self-assessment mechanisms to ensure annual compliance in this area.Work closely with the IT, Operations, Facilities, Outsourcing and Risk teams to ensure that department business plans and RCSA’s appropriately capture the risks associated with Operational Resilience and important Business Services.Implement a ‘lessons learned process’ across the business which allows for the proper assessment of, and reaction to, events that challenge our ability to remain operationally resilient.Identify changes to standards and processes that will improve the company’s operational resilience.Coordinate with all stakeholders and negotiate changes to an agreed level •Report to the Board and Executive Committee on a minimum of a bi-annual basis.Business ContinuityAlign Business Continuity Management processes across the company’s International entities, ensuring compliance with best practice and legal requirements.Define, schedule & implement appropriate testing schedules to ensure Business Continuity capabilities are kept up to date.Ensure that BIAs, BCPs, RIAs and other BCM documents are maintained and up to date.Ensure that effective testing and other risk management measures are in place across all locations to mitigate BC risk, aligning to business resilience controls.Documentation and Monitoring of Legal RequirementsMonitor changes to legal and regulatory requirements including FCA and CBI requirements and implications of the Digital Operational Resilience Act in the area of Business Resilience.Coordinate with branches to ensure that requirements surrounding Business Resilience are met, including the MAS Guidelines on BCM.Make effective use of the RisKonnect risk management system to document and evolve the control landscape surrounding Business Resilience and BCMSkills and Experience Required:Strong understanding of the control landscape within the insurance business including Business Continuity Management and Operational ResilienceKnowledge and understanding of business resilience regulations in locations where business is conductedAbility to manage complex process/ change initiativesTechnical experience in test planning and executionStrong organisational and stakeholder management skills
