This job is for someone wanting to join a busy, well-established nursing home group. Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and inspire employees to maintain the best possible standards for residential care. Manage the nursing home's daily operations to make sure everything runs smoothly and that there is an ideal staffing ratio. Uphold person-centered care while cultivating respectful and equitable interactions with residents. Exercise clinical leadership and cultivate an environment that values ongoing development.  Ensure all applicable laws and rules—such as the Health Act of 2007 and HIQA standards—are followed. Requirements Third Level Degree in Nursing. Registered with An Bord Altranais and hold an active PIN. Three years of post-registration experience required, two of those years must have been spent in management and in nursing homes. A desire to give senior citizens exceptional care combined with demonstrated leadership abilities.
