As a Human Resources Generalist in Limerick, Ireland, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry! This is a 10-month maternity cover contract. A typical day at ACI for a Human Resource Generalist is: Reporting to the EMEA HR Director (also based in Limerick) you will be an integral part of the EMEA and the global HR organisation. Works closely with management both local (Limerick) and remote to drive organization and employee development for the Limerick and Ireland-based ACI employee population. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives. Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organization development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Manage relationships with our benefits partners to ensure we are maximising our benefit offerings for employees. Key skills and abilities: Coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem-solving. Knowledge of Irish Employment Legislation including legislation relating to visas and work permits. Job Responsibilities: Provides strategic HR guidance for assigned specific departments and is responsible for performing a wide variety of activities such as providing support in areas including talent acquisition and talent development, leadership development, employee communications & engagement and performance management. Resolve complex employee relations issues by utilizing excellent problem solving and relationship skills, an in-depth knowledge of human resources practices, concepts and principles, as well as an understanding of employment law and ACI’s policies and procedures. Advise and assist employees in understanding and interpreting corporate wide policies including leaves in line with Irish legislation which include but are not limited to; Maternity, Paternity, Parent’s and Sick Leave. Support key ACI initiatives as they relate to the Human Resources function. Partner with management on issues related to organization development, employee engagement, and career and leadership development. Lead and conduct onboarding and offboarding activities with employees. Stay informed of current, new and pending regulations, policies and practices that impact human resources. Assist with compensation projects including job description development, job evaluations and job use/titles. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Ensure electronic employee records are maintained and complete other HR administrative duties. Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years human resource experience. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of products (including Excel). International human resource and information technology industry experience preferred.
