Overview We have a requirement for an experienced Planning Lead for a large scale Construction Project in Co. Westmeath. As Planner Lead, you will bring your significant experience to develop, coordinate, integrate and manage complex project schedules. The successful candidate will have suitable experience in leading and managing complex project schedules through their full project life cycle and working with multi-discipline Engineering, Design, Construction Management and Commissioning & Qualification teams. Responsibilities Overseeing large complex process projects (100M+). Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensure goals & timelines are achieved Execution of projects via an established Quality and Management system. Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools. Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same Lead / Host Interactive Planning Workshops. Critical Path development & analysis. Being proficient in MS Project and Primavera Scheduling tools. Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports. Provide valued input to Constructability Reviews. Establish project schedule resource requirements. Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals. Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action. Qualifications Preferably degree in relatable subject (e.g. Engineering, Construction Management) but not essential. Specific sector experience (Pharmaceutical, Data Center) highly desirable but not essential. Sound understanding of all phases of projects from design through to construction and commissioning and qualification. Understanding of project controls techniques. Understanding and experience of Critical Path Methods (CPM). Schedule Risk Analysis experience. NEC Contract experience. Understanding and experience in Earned Value Management (EVM). Strong background in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Strong organisational skills. Strong methodical and analytical approach with an ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrable ability to play a positive role in multi-discipline teams. Professional approach and demeanour. A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business. Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels.
