Kitchen Porter Part-time

As a Kitchen Porter with our team here in Cornamaddy, Athlone, you will be helping us deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational medical device company. This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions. Part-time Position (10:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday) (25 hours per week) What we are offering you: Weekdays €12.70 per hour Full training provided Uniform/shoes provided and staff meals provided during shifts. Advancement opportunities available for employees who would like to build a career with us What we are looking for from you: Maintain a supply of delph, cutlery, kitchen utensils, cooking pots and trays Carry out any reasonable tasks which support and assist with service delivery, food preparation, hygiene and any other tasks about the efficiency of the kitchen A good learner with attention to detail Willingness to embrace and apply our high food service standards A friendly personality, good people skills and a can-do attitude Self-motivated and able to use own initiative as/when required Team player with the ability to work towards a common goal Compliance with our Company's health and safety policies and practices. Occasional overtime may be offered depending on site needs. You must have: Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business is preferred A Strong background in hospitality or catering Excellent time management skills Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude Aramark is an equal opportunities employer
