The IT Operations team is responsible for building, securing, and maintaining TripAdvisor’s corporate infrastructure. In this role, you will split your time between the support of our production environment and the rollout of new tools and technologies to our customers. We have exciting projects ahead in both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including an ongoing zero-trust architecture implementation, Active Directory, Passwordless, next-gen wireless networking, as well as AWS, Azure AD, and on-prem hyper-converged infrastructure deployments.What You’ll DoYour responsibilities lie in two main categories.Support of our production environment: First-tier support for production issues on a broad range of systems. Some new and shiny, some old and brittle, but all equally important.Track, troubleshoot, and document production issues. Provide root cause analysis, working closely with other operations teams as needed.Participate in on-call rotation. We dislike pagers, too. Help us make it better!Help identify and address technical debt by making process and procedure improvements and updating coding in systems and tools. Project Delivery: Help drive the team’s roadmap, plan out your projects, provide effort estimates, and manage the execution of the project. Coordinate participation across teams.Be responsible for all stages of major IT projects from start to finish, including design, implementation, testing, and operationalization.Prototype, demonstrate, and package new technology as needed for internal projects or company directives.Proactively find ways to improve the experience we can offer our customers from an IT perspective.Develop new tools, and manage and improve existing ones using scripting and coding. Skills & Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar focus.5+ years of progressively responsible Windows/Active Directory.5+ years of experience coding and/or scripting Powershell (required), Python, or other equivalent languages.3+ years experience with Cloud Identity Providers such as Entra ID or Okta.Experience working with code revision tools, preferably GitAbility to troubleshoot and repair complex technical problems with team members, customers, and vendors quickly and effectivelyCloud experience Azure and/or AWS Must have technical skills/understanding in the following areas: Azure Active DirectoryMicrosoft Conditional AccessPowershellWindows ServerMicrosoft Active DirectoryDNSDHCP Nice to haves: Experience with DUO Security productsExperience with Nutanix Hyper-converged infrastructureExperience with Rubrik Backup solutionsCloud security experienceExperience with Identity GovernanceExperience with security endpoint software Experience with Windows SCCMExperience with Microsoft Conditional AccessExperience with Microsoft Public Key InfrastructureExperience with Zero Trust NetworkingWorking knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure orchestration tools.
