Your new company Your new company is a leading Irish bank. You will be joining a dynamic team based in Limerick city centre and will benefit from a hybrid working model. Your new role As a Credit Analyst, you will be joining the Central Review Team which looks after preparation of financial analysis papers for existing bank customers. The customer portfolio is varied and includes personal, business and corporate entities. You will be assessing the credit position of customers and preparing credit papers which seek to outline the customers’ overall financial position. You will be working independently on your cases, applying great levels of attention to detail and analysis skills and your cases will then be reviewed for accuracy before being submitted to the relationship managers, who in turn liaise with the customers. Whilst working on your own through each case, you will have the support of the more senior members of the team and team leader whenever you need. You’ll be joining a sociable team with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good head for numbers and ideally have some experience in a role which involves financial analysis. You’ll need to be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail and time management skills. If you have previous experience from the banking or financial services sector, this will be beneficial, but full training will be provided, so if you think you have relevant transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you.What you'll get in return In return, you will embark upon a 12-month initial assignment within a friendly, welcoming team with a view for extension beyond this. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate, which will be paid to you on a weekly basis by Hays. You will also be entitled to 23 days' annual leave and will be paid for all public holidays.
