Finance Manager - Mayo - OnsiteMy client, a global technology distribution specialist, seeks to hire a new Group Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Group FC, you will be responsible for consolidating financial activities across multiple business units, ensuring robust financial controls are in place, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. This is an excellent role for someone with requirement s outlined below, residing in East Mayo/North Roscommon/South Sligo. This is a permanent role, requiring you to be onsite 4-days per week. Responsibilities·Manage the month end process to ensure the production of accurate and timely financial information.·Oversee the finance teams work and develop plans for efficiencies.·Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet by ensuring full substantiation of all accruals.·Refining monthly balance sheet reconciliations process to maintain compliance with internal controls.·Promptly address any potential issues.·Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, identify opportunities to enhance system efficiencies.·Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout Business Units.·Assist in managing group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.·Lead the consolidation of financial statements across multiple business units.·Prepare/report month/quarter end financials to wider teams and the SLT to agreed timescales.·Provide feedback on financial data to relevant stakeholders and update rolling monthly forecasts.·Work closely with the FP&A team, to assist/build the annual budget plan, and quarterly forecasts.·Assist in the design of and implement robust reporting structures to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.·Assist in the ongoing integration of transformational projects, continually enhancing financial reporting processes and systems.·Assist the preparation for and the undertaking of the annual audit.Requirements·Fully Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA with PQE 5yrs+·People management experience, ideally in a finance/FMCG area.·SAP accounting software experience would be beneficial.·Experience of managing a significant workload, with the ability to multitask and delegate.·Ability to work with management in a fast-paced environment.·Ability to lead/develop team and also work cross-functionally across the organisation. ·Track record in delivering to deadlines and driving continuous improvement while maintaining attention to detail.·Strong communication skills to present or explain key findings/information to different audiences.·Willing to travel to various sites and external meetings as required.For more information, please contact #CplGalCommercial24#LI-PKCABC
