Job Description We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a reputable nursing home in the Cork area. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Assisting residents with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility. Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. Administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse. Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the overall well-being of residents. Requirements QQ I Level 5 or qualification as a Healthcare Assistant. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting. Knowledge of basic medical procedures and protocols.
