Front Office Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment.  Responsibilities:  Display, at all times, a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all interactions with guests, patrons and other employees. Attend or read the handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any special requirements for the day. Greeting guests as they arrive and checking them into their rooms Handling guest inquiries and providing information about hotel amenities and services Managing phone calls and email correspondence Ability to quote and be familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates. Ability to accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of reservations staff. Handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Managing room reservations and ensuring accuracy of guest information in the hotel's booking system Maintaining a clean and organized reception area Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations Perform tasks and projects as delegated by the manager on duty.   Requirements: Previous experience in a customer-facing role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel booking software Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays   Benefits: Free access to the Leisure Club Employee Assistance Programme Free Parking Meals on Duty Discounts throughout the hotel Uniform provided Pension Plan Bike to Work Scheme Employee Referral Programme Certified as a Great Place to Work
