The Opportunity Our Supply Chain Internship provides a meaningful, professional, hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. We hire students majoring in Supply Chain/Engineer/Business/Science into our programs based on business needs. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. Abbott’s global business enables you to work in a variety of fields, which may involve a number of the following activities:Market research, data analysis, and trend forecastingNew product introduction (NPI) support including logistics planning and supplier negotiationsReview of site master data – safety stocks, lead timesBuild out SAP training documentation and establish statistical trending of raw material supply issuesSupport supplier sustainability program and global manufacturing sites with Product Stewardship Program deliverablesProcurement, warehouse oversight, and planningParticipation in compliance projects to meet global trade and regulatory requirementsOur Supply Chain Internship Program will involve working in one of the following locations based on assignment: GalwaySligoWhat are we looking for?
