Your new company office is based in Limerick and follows a hybrid model. Your new role In your new role you will be Reporting to a Divisional Manager or Head of Financial Reporting Ireland Operations – Limerick. You will be responsible for Identifying and interpreting changes to accounting standards and regulations. Liaising with external audit firms to develop solutions. Establishing best practice within the department to provide unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improve. Responsible for the reviewing and delivery of financial statements where required to ensure they are compliant with current accounting and regulatory requirements. Primary point of contact with each of our associated Audit Firms, work closely with the Audit Firms and facilitate technical briefs and updates for the department, thereby keeping abreast of industry and regulatory developments. Represent company Financial Reporting at relevant external forums which have an impact on our business. Guide to staff on the resolution of non-routine and complex financial reporting issues. Liaise with Compliance and other relevant internal stakeholders where required. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position, it is very desirable that the candidate has financial reporting experience as well as relevant professional qualifications. Experience in the investment management industry - fund administration/ asset management is preferable. Excellent presentation skills and working knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.
