A vacancy has arisen within the Quality & Patient Safety Department for a permanent position of Quality and Patient Safety Administrator. This role is Permanent, 37 Hours pw. The Role: The Quality and Patient Safety Administrator will support the Quality Department in the collection analysis and presentation of Data Collection and works in partnership with the QPS team to ensure successful project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating quality processes and developing best practice procedures in the implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Initiatives. Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support to the department by performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and information. They will have the proven ability to conduct audit and statistical analysis of the data. They will proactively identify and rectify project weaknesses and have the ability to implement predictive performance measures. The individual will verify assigned projects through monitoring, surveillance and review the effectiveness and implementation of the project delivery processes and procedures. Provide administrative support with the Safety Reporting System - QPulse The Candidate: The individual will be required to have Relevant Qualification (Essential) Minimum of two years relevant experience (Essential) Excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively across the disciplines. Knowledge of Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development e.g. Excel Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to display/convert data into clear concise informational graphics.
