Hodson Bay Hotel Group is seeking a creative and meticulous Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team within the hotel group's Marketing Department on a part-time basis. Responsibilities:       Support the marketing team by creating and designing a variety of assets including marketing collateral, in-house stationery, signage, and digital assets, ensuring each design reflects the exacting standards of our brand.       Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative Team to develop designs that align with strategic marketing plans, adapting with agility to feedback and evolving priorities.       Inject passion and creativity into the design process, contributing unique ideas that reflect the spirit of our brand.       Ensure all materials adhere to the brand's visual identity and remain consistent across all four hotels.       Assist with the creation of collateral that aligns with ongoing campaigns and daily hotel needs and operations, ensuring designs are visually engaging and meet the group's brand standards.       Prepare files for production, ensuring that all artwork is thoroughly proofed and adheres to quality requirements before being sent for printing or digital distribution.       Consult with external vendors, such as printers on occasion.       Stay informed on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the team's creative output with fresh ideas and techniques. Requirements:       A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with a solid understanding of layout, typography, and branding principles.       A strong portfolio demonstrating a creative approach to briefs and design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.       Persuasive communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.       Ability to take direction and apply feedback to improve and refine design work.       Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.       Knowledge of print production processes and preparing artwork for various formats.       Knowledge of video, photography, motion graphics and editing is a bonus and familiarity of the hospitality industry or experience working on hotel-related marketing projects is a plus.
