HR Business Partner - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This role will work closely with the leadership teams across the relevant Service Lines to deliver a day-to-day talent service and develop strong personal relationships and networks throughout the partnership. The incumbent is expected to play a major role working with their Service Lines to support business growth, the achievement of the talent strategy, employee engagement and the retention of top talent. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in partnership with a fast-paced business with aggressive plans for future growth. Your key responsibilities Drive the implementation of the core annual talent processes in relation to leadership development, performance management, retention, pay review and engagement making sure that data accuracy and timelines are kept Work with the business to create, tailor and support delivery of talent agenda for designated EY Service Lines Proactively drive change initiatives searching for an opportunity for structuring, optimizing and unifying approach where possible and justified Use data to create insights in order to generate ideas and solutions Acts as a trusted advisor to the business leaders providing guidance and coaching on key people aspects including employee relations matters and performance management challenges Work collaboratively with other colleagues in Talent Team to shape and deliver an exceptional employee experience through full employee lifecycle Provides insights on current people issues and has a challenging robust point of view on business decisions and their impact on people Supports our drive to be an inclusive employer valuing diversity and inclusion Skills and attributes for success Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a face-paced and demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail A strong sense of ownership for full projects delivery cycle from strategic focus, through ability to translate a vision to a tangible plan, to successful delivery of that plan and operational excellence Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, coach and facilitate, and influencing senior stakeholders Demonstrable business acumen Extensive knowledge of Employee Relations, Talent Management, Performance Management, Reward, Resource Management, and Diversity & Inclusion Practical experience of implementing successful change initiatives Well-developed problem-solving skills preferably honed within a multi-location, matrix organisation Growth mindset and readiness to try new ways of working in order to achieve better results, improve quality of service and bring added value to the business To qualify for the role you must have At least 5 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner working with senior management teams having brought about considerable behavioural change that has resulted in improved business performance, ideally in Professional Services Successful achievement of professional qualifications and/or education to third level degree where these can be shown to have played a significant role in career success to date Advanced knowledge of MS office skills What we look forAn experienced, passionate, energetic and resilient individual who can strengthen our Talent team and work in partnership with the business in delivering an exceptional HR service in line with our People strategy and the Firm’s business objectives.
