As they continue to lead the charge in waste-to-energy solutions, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Dublin and contribute to the success of our innovative projects. Your role will involve maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment integral to their waste-to-energy processes. Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to enhance equipment performance. Install new mechanical components and systems, following engineering specifications and safety guidelines. Collaborate with the engineering team during the commissioning phase to ensure seamless integration of new equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications. Provide detailed reports on equipment performance, issues, and resolutions to support continuous improvement efforts. Work closely with other maintenance and operations teams to coordinate activities and optimize workflow. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed. Requirements: Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or a related field. Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial setting, preferably in waste management or energy production. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, and processing equipment. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards.
