Job description Release Management SpecialistDublin - 1-2 days onsite per week €350 - €400 per day 6 months My client a leading consultancy is looking for a Release Management Specialist to join their projects team based in Dublin.As Release Management Specialist you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release process for sophisticated software systems and support development and test teams in maintaining various environments.Responsibilities:Assist development and test teams in maintaining all Revenue environments.Improve build and release processes through automation.Troubleshoot issues related to Revenue's technology stacks, including Weblogic, Chef, and Docker.Utilise Revenue incident management tools and procedures.Collaborate with the Revenue CMDB and Service Desk tools.Occasionally perform Live Releases and support Test environments during weekends.Conduct critical maintenance and upgrade tasks outside of regular work hours as needed.Skills and Experience:Proven experience working collaboratively in a team on projects involving diverse technologies and architectures.Familiarity with standards-driven environments.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Basic proficiency in UNIX tasks (navigation, file manipulation, editing).Experience with Docker is highly desirable.
