Full Job Description The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team which deals with many aspects of the business. He / she will work as part of theTechnical Supportteam oncustomer queryandticket managementand will work with our suppliers to ensure that the quality of our products is maintained at the high standard expected by our customers. This role involves working closely with our sales and technical support teams, our China team and our suppliers. There will also be some elements ofproduct testingand development to support our NPD in guaranteeing the highest product quality, while making sure that all products placed on the market meets statutory and safety requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical/mechanical technician or electrical apprentice with a strong background in fault finding, problem solving and customer service. Day to Day Responsibilities: Technical Support Team Call answering, Ticket management, Technical Call Log & Inbox Daily Update/Housekeeping Product QC Issues & QC Kanban management liaising with Customer, Sales Representatives, Contractors, and Wholesalers Managing Secondary Cost claims and Warranty Claims- liaising with Customer, Sales Representatives, Contractors, and Wholesalers Product Testing - full testing (installation & functional) of products being assessed by the New Product Development, Technical department, and those for Sample Review. Supporting with Technical/Quality Reworks when required. Provide input that may help improve processes and procedures throughout all areas of QC & Technical. About you Customer Service / Technical Support Experience Strong Technical skills with hands on experience, with a background as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship. Experience in the lighting sector is preferable. Project management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience using excel, word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and responding to tasks with an efficient, can-do attitude. Excellent attention to detail. Be a collaborative team player. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Excellent Salary and benefits on offer for the right candidate. Dublin 22 location Hours - Mon Thu 8:00 -17:00 with a 45 min lunch break and Fri 8:30 -16:00 with a 30 min lunch break.
