Health & Safety Advisor (6-Month Contract with Potential for a permanent Role) Position: Health & Safety Advisor Location: Dublin Industry: Engineering About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading engineering company on a 6-month contract. This role will be based on-site at one of their client's facilities in Dublin. After the initial contract period, there will be an opportunity to apply for a permanent position, providing a pathway for long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety protocols. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all safety certifications are up to date. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Requirements: Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager in an engineering or industrial setting. Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Relevant qualifications in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
