You will be responsible for leading key elements of the Lib3rty program and acting as the program voice for your given workstream You will also take ownership of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program and manage the work of project managers.It will be a very big plus if you can bring experience in developing projects or sites from square one.You will be responsible forLeading the project management activities for a given workstream/manufacturing lineDriving task & deliverable adherence to established schedule through the daily & weekly Tier meetingsDeveloping & challenging existing program schedules, where you’ll bring experience with MS Project to optimize the schedule layout & flowBuild an in depth understanding of your given workstream to drive valuable input to team discussionLead problem solving workshops to identify program gapsEngage with key suppliers & vendors to assess project management capabilities versus industry standardIdentify and resolve operational problems to mitigate schedule impactEvaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.Select and manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.For this position you will need to bring:Project Management experience (PMP certification or similar is desired)Ideally, experience leading large capital project at medical device manufacturing sitesUnderstanding of project lifecycle & how to manage the transition of projects from corporate concept to planning & execution at site levelMS project experience with advanced Excel experience being ideal .Experience with Manufacturing & Quality documentation.Strong communication and influencing skills.Strong problem-solving skills – ideally evidenced through leadership of workshop style sessions•Solid Presentation skills.Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate.Stakeholder management.Influencing without authorityPeople management experience is desirable but not requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum Level 7 Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science or related discipline.A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with > 5 years’ experience being idealAbbott is an equal opportunities employer.
