Our client, a leading building contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Limerick area. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the cost management of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Responsibilities: Manage procurement of subcontractors, ensuring that all required resources are in place for the successful completion of all works.Oversee the payment of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they are paid promptly and in accordance with company procedures.Analyse contract documents on a weekly basis to identify any variations and ensure that they are maximised.Prepare budgets for approval by senior management, ensuring that all costs are accurately estimated and tracked.Manage and provide direction to staffLiaise with senior management to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.Ensure that all paperwork required for the running and management of the project is completed accurately and on time.Manage variation accounts to ensure they are paid in a timely manner as the project progresses. Requirements: At least 5 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing costs and delivering projects on time and within budget.A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex contract documents and identify variations.A thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and procedures.Knowledge of relevant software programs and tools At Acrow Recruitment, we are committed to finding the best talent for our clients.
