Due to further investment, our client have a new opportunity for a Project Manager to oversee and develop projects within their primary site in Killeshandra. The Project Manager will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, managing capital investments, We are ideally looking for someone with an engineering background or industrial engineering background. This position could also suit someone who is working as a Project Engineer looking to get more into Project Management.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage projects at the Killeshandra site.Oversee the preparation and management of the annual capital budget processes.Manage project expenditures versus budget during execution.Guide projects through the capital approval journey, defining scope, costs, payback, environmental impacts, and ensuring stakeholder support.Collaborate with site management teams to identify, develop, and execute projects across all operational areas, including R&D, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and relevant services.Ensure growth and capacity projects deliver improved operational efficiencies and cost reductions through automation, new technology, and operational adjustments.Manage resources including internal staff, suppliers, consultants, contractors, regulators, and grant bodies to deliver successful project outcomes.Encourage and support employees in representing their departments effectively in various capital projects.Provide technical support and advice to Site Operational Management to maintain and improve quality, efficiency, and capability.Keep site project documentation and drawings up to date.Stay abreast of new technology, equipment, and processes relevant to the site.Pursue continuous learning and development to enhance personal performance.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.Maintain standards and procedures for accreditation and ongoing compliance certification.Ensure compliance with the company's Data Protection Policy and Data Retention Process, keeping personal data secure and processing it lawfully.Promote and engage in knowledge transfer as appropriate.Perform any other duties assigned in line with the role.Experience Required:Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project management, preferably within the Engineering, Food or Manufacturing industry.Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and budgets.Experience in overseeing projects from scoping and specification to installation, commissioning, and handover.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering functions/providers, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.What you will receive in return:Attractive compensation packageBonus up to 10%Pension 10.9% Employer Contribution 21 days’ annual leave in addition to public holidays
