Manage Consumables Program for the site including:Managing our Partner SupplierEnsuring continuity of supply to agreed metricsManaging Inventory targets and plan material requirementsConducting monthly meeting review and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)Managing cost metrics with Operations and FinanceReview usage and demand data and manage overall usage modelChemical Supplier Management (including all direct (BOM) chemicals), including forecasting usage, placing PO’s with supplier, Supplier monthly meetings and QBRs.Generate PO using system (e.g., JDE, Coupa) for all Indirect CommoditiesCreation of reports of key performance indicators and identify opportunities for potential report automation and process improvementsEstablish and maintain inventory targetsSupporting New Product Introduction for all Indirect requirements, ensure dual sourcing strategy supported for optimal business continuityLiaise with the warehouse team for shipping and receiving of material with some level of complexityEnsure shipment of materials by applying knowledge of import and export laws and regulationsExpediting purchase orders as required. Includes expediting material from the receiving dock though receiving inspection, to production storesBroad understanding of Indirect Procurement, including RFQ process, sourcing, contracts, price negotiations, managing suppliers, cost reduction initiativesCreating and approving POs and Requisitions on ERP system (i.e. Coupa, JDE) and New Supplier Set upReview contracts and purchase orders for compliance to policyMaintain Contract database (ECLM) including NDAs, ensuring contract storage in compliance with company policyContinuous improvement projectsOther incidental duties assigned by LeadershipWhat You Will Need? 2 years related experience requiredBachelor's Degree in in related fieldExperience in purchasing, logistics and/or production controlExperience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry preferredWhat Else We Look For? Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and ExcelExperience working with source-to-pay or related systems (e.g., Coupa) preferredExperience MRP and ERP (e.g. JDE) preferredDirect Procurement and/or Logistics experience preferred but not essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skillsGood problem-solving, organisational, analytical and critical thinking skillsSolid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to purchasing material, logistics, and/or production controlSolid knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management programs (e.g., Kanban, Min/Max)Solid knowledge of market and economic indicators, practices and procurement proceduresGood problem-solving skillsStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environmentAdhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
