In February 2020 the company became part of Qorvo and with that, the Ultra-Wideband Business Unit (UWBU) within Qorvo Mobile Products RESPONSIBILITIES: Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems, as well as digital design and verification. Design, simulate, verify and document innovative digital circuit blocks/subsystems/transistor circuits in leading-edge CMOS technology, such as encoders and decoders, front-end interfaces System-on-a-chip development using secure IoT processors Report and presentation at the end of the internship on the work performed. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 in Electrical engineering. or equivalent, and be enrolled in an MS or PhD programme. The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of digital circuit design and communications theory or digital signal processing. Familiarity with semiconductor devices and digital design hardware development languages is required. Familiarity with embedded systems, C programming and Python scripting is an advantage. Good communicator with an eagerness to learn, solve problems and make an impact. (and be part of something special)
