Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.What You Will Do Lead a team of Build and Release engineers specializing in Unity 3D games and release pipelines, setting clear expectations and providing continuous feedback, coaching, and mentoring to ensure success and growthEnsure the execution of the product and technology roadmap to meet stakeholder expectations and maintain technical quality of experiences implemented by the teamFoster teamwork, team building, team motivation, and team progress through effective people management practices, such as regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and team eventsDrive effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams, including game development, QA, and operationsCreate and maintain a focus on best practices, efficiency, and growth for your team members by overseeing code reviews, development processes, and training opportunitiesManage team resources, budgets, and delivery timelines to ensure successful execution of projects and adherence to business objectivesParticipate in the interview process for new team members and execute effective onboarding for new engineersWhat We’re Looking ForHighly experienced in a build and release role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial positionSolid understanding of software build and release processes, including CI/CD best practices, specifically for Unity 3D gamesExperience with version control systems, such as Git, and build management tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or GradleStrong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling productive collaboration with team members, peers, and managementComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment that embraces change and innovationExperience in the gaming industry, especially with Unity 3D game development and release processes, is preferredDemonstrated ability to perform as a Technical Team Lead, including meeting results, accountability measures, and cultural expectations
