Role: Liability Claims HandlerLocation: South DublinLiability Claims Handler wanted for Cradle to Grave Role-South DublinAbrivia are currently recruiting for a Liability Claims Handler to join our client, a Global Insurance Group, based in South Dublin. Our client is a global leader within Insurance, and you will form part of an established team with a strong focus on client experience.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience managing claims within General Insurance and have a keen interest in taking full ownership of the claims process including attending court and attending client review meetings.This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in the office and comes with an exceptional package including many unique corporate benefitsYour Role: Proactively manage a portfolio of claims, consistently delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.Fulfil responsibilities in Claims Relationship Management.Efficiently prioritise daily workflow to meet customer charter commitments.Handle claims in accordance with regulatory standardsRecord new claims and collaborate with relevant stakeholders throughout the claims process.Interpret policy coverage, assess indemnity, endorsements, and exclusions.Assess liability through desktop investigations and engage external resources as necessary.Continuously evaluate potential financial exposure, ensuring adequate reserves for each claim.Coordinate with relevant service providers as instructed.Identify potential instances of fraud, escalating cases to the fraud team when necessary.Directly negotiate claim settlements with claimants and/or solicitors.Attend court proceedings for trials, settlement negotiations, and consultations as required.Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with external contacts.Provide administrative support to the claims team Your Skills: Professional Insurance qualificationAt least 2 years of experience in claims.Previous experience in handling liability personal injury claims a bonus.Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsWillingness to attend court in Dublin or relevant jurisdiction
