We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to play a crucial part in migrating our existing legacy codebase to a contemporary framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions from the ground up. Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals. Utilise expertise in Laravel, React, Next.JS &Tailwind to architect and develop modern software solutions. Lead the migration of legacy codebase to a new framework, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to address issues and enhance overall system functionality. Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of new features and modules. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying them to enhance our software development processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Requirements: Degree in computer science, software engineering or a closely related field. 4 – 8 years previous experience. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus the Laravel framework Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Previous experience migrating legacy codebases to modern frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
