They require a Network Deployment Engineer with 5+ years of IP networking experience with designing, deploying, and supporting service provider, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux OS/networking, analyzing situations and utilizing problem-solving experiences under pressure, leading and executing network deployment projects, working with limited supervision, and interacting with vendors and external parties to drive projects to completion. Job Reference: BBBH 24887 Location: Dublin 4, Ireland Type of Work: Hybrid, 3 days a week in Dublin 4 Contract: 11-months PAYE contract What will a Network Deployment Engineer do? Deploying and supporting one of the world’s largest and complex networks. Involvement in all aspects of networking. Utilizing networking experience to design, deploy, and support service provider, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure. Configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and VRRP in a dual-stack IPv4/6 environment. Coordinating and executing hardware installation and configuration. Applying knowledge of fiber-optic communications technology, including CWDM and DWDM. Applying knowledge of data center design and operational best practices. Utilizing experience with Linux OS/networking. Analyzing situations and utilizing problem-solving skills under pressure. Leading and executing network deployment projects. Working with limited supervision. Interacting with vendors and external parties to drive projects to completion. What does the Ideal Candidate look like? 5+ years of IP networking experience with designing, deploying, and supporting service provider, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure. Experience configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and VRRP in a dual-stack IPv4/6 environment. Experience coordinating and executing hardware installation and configuration. Working knowledge of fiber-optic communications technology including CWDM and DWDM. Hands-on experience with enterprise and carrier class routing, switching, and optical transport platforms. Knowledge of data center design and operational best practices. Experience with Linux OS/networking. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment. Experience with field-based work in Collocation Facilities, Internet Exchanges, or Central Offices. Scripting experience with Python or Perl. Network certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or JNCIP, JNCIE Expert level certifications. Benefits?
