Job Title : Assistant Professor in Literary PracticePay Scale : Lecturer Closing Date : 13-May-2024 12:00Contact Email : The School seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor of Literary Practice who will make a major contribution to enhancing and developing our profile in the area of Creative Writing, specifically Fiction, to teach at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in the School of English, Trinity College Dublin. The writer is based in the Oscar Wilde Centre and in the School of English. The appointee will be expected to co-ordinate and teach on the MPhil in Creative Writing, will supervise PhD students in the area of literary practice, to assist in the development of the profile of the Oscar Wilde Centre as a teaching and research institute for Literary Practice and to contribute toundergraduate teaching in this field. The successful candidate will be an established writer with an international reputation and experience of teaching writing who would normally hold a PhD or equivalent.
