The Role Savills is recruiting a Valuations Surveyor to work in our Cork Office. Our Professional Services team has a reputation for providing outstanding quality and professional advice across an array of services including valuations for loan security valuations, rent reviews, compulsory purchase negotiations and all other areas of professional work. Experience in all or a combination of these areas of work would be a distinct advantage. We are looking for an experienced Valuer to add to our existing market leading team.   Key Responsibilities The Person: Ideal candidates will have no less than four full year's post qualification experience within the commercial property environment, either in Ireland or abroad and be a qualified member of the SCSI or RICS. The candidate will have a thorough knowledge and appreciation of key issues influencing the market combined with an excellent understanding of relevant legislation and planning laws. They will have drive and ambition and should be capable of working on their own initiative. The successful applicant will be highly pro-active, with a desire to provide the best advice and service within the Irish market.   Role Competencies The competencies that we require and on which assessment will be based are as follows: Solid commercial valuations experience Build and manage your own internal network within Savills to maximize on cross department efficiencies Excellent technical skills combined with proven commercial acumen Ability to work effectively on your own initiative, be target-driven and motivated by the delivery of quality work Results focused with a methodical, an organised approach to daily, weekly, & monthly time management and workload requirements Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment with increased focus on process Delivering an effective pitch and/or presentation at on-site Client meetings when required Capable of listening, analysing and understanding Client requirements Exceptional influencing and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) What drives you: Working in an organisation that holds ethical behaviour and professional conduct as sacrosanct, the challenge will be to operate as part of a fast-paced team, be capable of performing at a high level whilst committing to an ethos of continuous personal and professional development.   Savills Ireland is an equal opportunity employer: Savills aims to attract, recruit and retain the best people from the widest possible pool of talent.
