The Opportunity: We are looking for a Finance Assistant / Part Qualified Accountant to join our small (currently 6 members) but growing Finance team to cover an initial Maternity Leave period. This role presents an opportunity to join a vibrant and growing company in the consumer goods industry. You will gain experience of working in a multi-entity Group accounting structure operating across international markets. Your Responsibilities: + Daily / weekly reconciliations of group bank accounts and group merchant accounts + Sales invoicing and credit note processing for all markets + Managing the day-to-day Debt collection process + Coordinating debt collecting activities with other team members + Handling debtor related credit insurance claims as required + Reviewing & posting company credit cards transactions + Analysing and reconciling Sales representatives commission payments + Credit card processing (receipts) as required + Handling financial related customer service queries + Assisting with tax & cross border duties compliance + Assisting with annual financial reporting + Assisting with monthly management accounting process + Assisting with market/customer/product margin analysis and other reporting as required + Analysing freight and duty charges across all markets + Assisting with financial related projects as required Key Requirements: + Part-Qualified Accountant working towards full accreditation with recognised accountancy body (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) + Previous accounting experience working in Ireland and UK is essential + Experience working within international markets is desirable + Ability to self-manage and work to deadlines + Ability to work well in a team and following own initiative + Open minded, collaborative attitude towards change and process improvement + Customer service mindset for dealing with internal and external stakeholders + Strong verbal and written communications skills + Excellent attention to detail + Good working knowledge of Financial & Accounting systems + Knowledge of SAP Business One desirable but not essential + Proficient user of Excel Benefits: + Hybrid working policy + Company pension scheme with company contribution + Contribution to Gym membership + Wellness and Social Committee, frequent company events + Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) + Learning and Development and Professional Qualifications support + Free car parking Sounds like a good fit?
