We are currently seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our client's team based in Mullingar. The successful candidate will hold a very important role for our operation, ensuring that all our heavy industry products, are delivered to our customers, in the correct manner, with correct documentation and transport specifications. Salary: 30-35K DOE Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for permits within Ireland. Includes annual permits and individual permits per county. Completes necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner. Manage the logistics of our deliveries to site Overall responsibility for booking couriers for collections from SMP ensuring best value at all times Full administrative support for annual audits Organise monthly transport management meetings. Ensure Drivers are fully informed of necessary information relating to safety, operations and HR. Liaise with HR to upload signed documents to training profile. Managing 6 monthly driving licence and eye sight checks. Haulage; Manage the online system, accept relevant jobs that have been approved from transport manager, book relevant ferries in a cost-efficient manner and provide customs information for client so they can manage the declarations. Administration responsibility for booking SML fleet into client specific sites in advance of dispatch Respond to all queries in a prompt and courteous manner, issue quotes to clients and all relevant correspondence. Progress these quotes and initial sales inquiries to production orders. Liaise with production, check on stock availability and lead production times and advise accordingly. Organise all these sales, within production demands and capacity on Jarvis and manage the deliveries and all associated transport requirements and plan Tank installations on Jarvis. Responsible for callout charges to client. Maintenance of unpaid call out list and send reminder texts to obtain relevant payment. Skills & Experience 2 years administration experience Excellent transport/logistics/haulage knowledge, communication and administration skills. Working as part of team with the ability to work on own initiative and excellent attention to detail is essential Strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills Must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Strong computer skills (Excel/Jarvis (ERP) system) and a knowledge of Sage 200 an advantage Must have exceptional organisational skills Skills: Administration Admin Logistics
